Bearer Token

Definition: Bearer tokens are a type of access token (see above) created by the Authentication server. When a user authenticates an application, the authentication server will follow an authorization flow to verify the user's identity. The serve will respond with a Bearer Token that can be used to make API requests on behalf of the user. A Bearer Token is generally a secret value created by the authentication server and not a random value.
